Solar film that makes the working day comfortable
Large window sections give light and views — but also overheating in summer and glaring screens all year. Solar film solves both in a single day, without replacing windows or fitting blinds.
A good solar film rejects up to 80% of solar heat and almost all UV radiation. That means a noticeably lower indoor temperature, less need for cooling, and furniture, curtains and floors that don't fade.
We carry both almost invisible spectrally selective films that preserve the look of the facade, and tinted films where privacy is also wanted. For homes and offices needing daylight we typically recommend a clear film with high light transmission and low heat gain.
Installation happens from the inside and is noise-free. We happily work outside opening hours so the shop or office isn't disturbed, and a normal office floor is usually done in under a day.
Solar film also has a safety side: the film holds glass shards together if the pane breaks, and thicker security films exist for exposed facades.
